Our fees are calculated on an hourly rate, based on years of experience in residential and office cleaning. We are expert estimators and we honor our quotes.

Yes. Our crew members are all company employees. They are thoroughly vetted — including background checks — and rigorously trained. Plus, they stay with us for years; so we really know them. Our company is also fully bonded and insured.
We work in teams of two (2). Unless there’s a specific reason for a change, you will get the same lead technician each time — although the accompanying second member may change. This means they’ll get to know your home and be able to fulfil efficiently on the Park Avenue Cleaning quality promise. All our technicians speak English fluently.
We bring all cleaning equipment and supplies, unless you have specific requests. Park Avenue Cleaning prides ourselves on surface-care knowledge; thus we use chemicals that are appropriate for the surface being cleaned. Our team members’ health is important to us, too; so we try to reduce the use of harsh chemicals as much as possible while still maintaining the quality of your cleaning. We have a Green Certified line of cleaners for clients with particular sensitivities (e.g., allergy sufferers). These are available upon request.
We do not use bleach or other caustic products, but we do use appropriate name brand cleaning agents. However, we do our best to accommodate your specific requests. Our green-certified line of products is available upon request. These are most effective in homes that are kept well-maintained.
We work with you to figure out what works best. For recurring clients, we take, tag, and keep any keys given to us, and hand them out to employees at the time of service. We also accept alarm codes and garage door codes and remote controls.
Yes. COVID-19 protocols made it safer for everyone if clients left home while our crews were in the house. However, as we return to normal we expect to ease this restriction. Whether to be at home or not is the client’s choice. Whatever you decide, we do our best to work around you – and we understand this can mean managing our way around you working from home as well as your kids doing virtual learning. We make it work with discipline, concentration, and by keeping to a tight schedule.
All our technicians are dog lovers and we’re happy to clean around your pet as much as we can!
Here’s our standard cleaning checklist, We offer an additional deep cleaning service, great for the first maid service visit, a spring cleaning, or when you’re finally ready to sell. Our listing clean for sellers and their real estate agents is an agent favorite in Howard County and Baltimore County, Maryland.
A standard 2,000-square-foot home, not including a basement, takes about two (2) hours for a team of two. If there is a time constraint, we can add a crew member or a second team with 24-hour advance notice.
If for any reason you aren’t 100% happy with your cleaning and you notify the office within 24 hours from the time we complete your cleaning, we’ll come back within the following 48 hours to make it right!
A gratuity is an expression of appreciation, so it is always welcomed, especially when the Team exceeds your expectations. However, you are not obligated to tip your cleaners.
We are happy to accept payment by credit card, check, and secure auto-billing. Monthly clients can use our client portal to make payments and manage their service preferences.
We contact all clients with any pertinent schedule changes during times of inclement weather.
